Our Christmas Play - 'Not Such a Silent Night'!

We performed 'Not Such a Silent Night' on the 10th of December in front of a packed hall. Our teacher was so proud of our performance and all our hard work after many weeks of practice. Special congratulations to all the children who performed their beautiful solo singing parts, Jack Kelly, Lee and Erin Knight. They were fantastic! Thanks also to all the parents and families for such a wonderful show of support for the children.

Fun during Science Week!

We took part in many exciting competitions during Science! Well done to Conor Darcy for designing a paper aeroplane that flew the third fastest in first class!
Every child in each first class also brought in the longest carrot they could find and they were measured....

Each child also brought in the heaviest potato they could find. Special thanks to Mrs Bouzzah for joining us to weigh the potatoes and measure carrots each morning.

Well done to Iveta for winning the third prize in the heaviest potato competition. It was extremely heavy!

Ola's potato was shaped like a duck!

Special thanks to all the parents for all their help and encouragement which made our Science Week so successful!

Science Week!

Well done to all the boys and girls for their fantastic participation in our Science Week! Check out all the wonderful stations we explored in the hall! A special thanks to Mrs Bouzzah for all her help in organising.

Food Dudes!

In November we undertook the Food Dudes Programme both in our class and as a school! We have been learning all about healthy fruit and vegetables to ensure we make the wisest choices to keep our bodies healthy. Each day we have been receiving a special reward and teacher is very proud of our great effort as we continue to feed the Life Force!

Halloween Sponsored Walk!

On Friday, the 23rd of October we had our annual Halloween Sponsored Walk around Balbriggan. The boys and girls Halloween costumes were outstanding! Special thanks to all the parents for assisting with the costumes and especially with the many wonderful homemade ones. We even had a scary visit from Brendan in the afternoon!

Well done to Caitlin for winning the best homemade costume in the class!

Halloween Art - Pumpkins

Check out the fantastic Halloween pumkins we created!

Halloween Fire Safety

We have been learning all about fire safety in school, something that is always very important but particularly at Halloween. The boys and girls have worked very hard at learning how to keep their homes and environments safe and about potential hazards. The class participated in an art competition and the deserving winners were Jack and Zakia!
